Disneyland Paris, originally Euro Disney Resort, is an entertainment resort in Marne-la-Vallée, a new town located 32 km east of the centre of Paris and is the most visited attraction in all of France and Europe. The resort encompasses two theme parks, several resort hotels, a shopping, dining, and entertainment complex, and a golf course, in addition to several additional recreational and entertainment venues. Disneyland Park is the original theme park of the complex, opening with the resort in 1992. A second theme park, Walt Disney Studios Park opened in 2002.
Disneyland Paris is situated only 32 km from Paris, approximately 1 hour from the Paris Airports by shuttle bus transfer, with direct access from the A4 autoroute, and just 2 minutes’ walk from Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy train station.
How you get there:
By train – Approximately a 35-minute trip on the RER A regional train from “Nation” station. 2 stations access: Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy (terminus, just a 2-minute walk from the magic!)
By bus – Direct and Regular departures from Paris Charles de Gaulle & Orly (approx 45 mins) airports and the Disney Hotels (except Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch).
A shuttle bus also runs to and from Beauvais airport (approx 2.5 hrs)
Rent a car – Car rentals are available at Paris Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports, as well as at the main Paris SNCF railways stations. A pick-up/drop-off point is also located at Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy station (a 2-minute walk away from the Parks).
