Day 1 – Istanbul, Turkey
Ah, Constantinople, Queen of Cities and the Door to Happiness. Istanbul is the only city in the world built on two continents – Europe and Asia – and its appeal is truly universal. Visit the harem at Topkapi Palace, admire the Iznik tiles and stained glass windows of the Blue Mosque, and the mystical light bathing the nave of Hagia Sofia.

Day 2 – Bartin / Amasra, Turkey
The highlights of Amasra include a visit to Old Town and Genoeses Citadel. Amasra is noted for its beautiful beaches and small Turkish fishing village. You also have the opportunity to purchase a shore excursion to the historic trading post of Safranbolu.

Day 3 – Samsun, Turkey
Samsun is a large port town on the coast of the Black Sea. The best opportunity is to venture to Amasya in the Valley for scenic vistas and an opportunity to visit the Rock Tombs, the Sultan Beyazit Mosque and the old Mansions. Have lunch above the town and enjoy a beautiful view of the Valley below.

Day 4 – At sea
This is your invitation to a day of indulgence. Treat yourself to a luxurious spa experience. Dine in sumptuous casual style, or wrap yourself in that comfy waffle-weave robe and enjoy your meal in the privacy of your beautiful stateroom. Your delight is our single priority for your day at sea.

Day 5 – Odessa, Ukraine
Welcome to Russia’s southern window on the world, founded in the late 18th century by Catherine the Great. With its French and Italian influence, it even looks more European than Soviet. Neoclassical buildings date back to Russia’s gilded age, while Renaissance, Classical, and Art Nouveau styles share the stage.

Day 6 – Constanta, Romania
What’s your pleasure? An ultra-chic beach resort with all the trimmings? A modern city known for its fine wine, good food, and famous hospitality? You’re in luck—you’ll find all three in Constanta. Museums, mosques, and Roman mosaics await in the Old Town. Drive through the countryside past horse carts and shepherds grazing their flocks to the Danube Delta, one of the world’s greatest wetlands.

Day 7 – Nessebar, Bulgaria
Nessebar, the “Pearl of the Black Sea,” is one of Europe’s most ancient towns, located on an island connected to the mainland by a narrow isthmus. You’ll also find many delightful two-story wooden revival-style houses and an attractive old Bulgarian Revival windmill that guards the passageway from New Nessebarr to Old Nessebar.

Day 8 – Istanbul, Turkey
Ah, Constantinople, Queen of Cities and the Door to Happiness. Istanbul is the only city in the world built on two continents -Europe and Asia – and its appeal is truly universal. Visit the harem at Topkapi Palace, admire the Iznik tiles and stained glass windows of the Blue Mosque, and the mystical light bathing the nave of Hagia Sofia.
