4 nights in Okavango Delta / 7 nights in Seychelles

Okavango Delta – Botswana’s Okavango Delta is a facinating and unique wildlife location. It is the worlds largest inland delta and situated in an extremely arid region attracts great concentrations of diverse animals and birds. The climate is at odds with the lush environment and plays an important role in making the Okavango Delta a fantastic safari destination.

Seychelles  – The islands of the Seychelles are quite simply the most romantic location imaginable. They are the perfect spot for the most romantic holiday of your life – crystal clear waters gently breaking on pure white sands with gently swaying palms in the background and a variety of hotels and resorts to suit each couple’s needs for that perfect Seychelles honeymoon.
For those who wants some fun adventures, the Seychelles is a perfect destination. Denis Island, renowned for its picturesque snorkelling and kayaking is an ideal location for ocean activities, while Anse Lazio’s white sand and crystal waters could be your own tropical paradise.

Day 1 – 5: Okavango Delta
Arrive in Johannesburg and fly to Maun in Botswana, then to Okavango Delta. You will spend four nights here, enjoying all that the delta has to offer.
Described as “the river which never finds the sea”, the Okavango River in northwestern Botswana disappears into a 6,000-square-mile maze of lagoons, channels, and islands. The Okavango Delta is a spectacular site either in flood or at other times of the year.
The Okavango Delta supports the most diverse habitat and animal populations in Botswana, with possible sightings of wild dog, cheetah, leopard and much more! Resident species include lion, elephant, buffalo, hippo, giraffe, hyena, zebra, kudu, lechwe, sable and roan antelope. Teeming with wildlife and over 400 bird species, a visit to Botswana’s Delta is an experience of a lifetime.
Stay in comfort and style at one of the many Camps and Lodges in the Okavango. Reminisce fireside about your day’s game viewing by mokoro (dugout canoe), boat or Land Rover. Wake to the loud grumbling of an elephant’s tummy and lie silent and still in your luxury tent while it grazes only a stone’s throw away. Experience a sunset unlike any other, as the sun dips on another day on safari in the Okavango Delta.

Day 5 – 12: Seychelles
Fly to Johannesburg and connect that same evening to the Seychelles. On arrival at Mahé International Airport, you will be met by a North Island representative and assisted to a helicopter for the 15-minute air transfer to the North Island Lodge, part of the Wilderness Collection, for seven nights villa accommodation.
Seychelles is home to white sand beaches and tropical forest while the iridescent waters are filled with pristine coral reefs, tropical fish and an array of marine life. Towering palms frame rustic retreats which open up onto this unspoilt getaway – it really does feel like paradise!
Spend your time enjoying Scuba Diving courses and activities and snorkeling in and around the North Island and Silhouette dive sites. Go sea kayaking and on sunset cruises and guided walks. Ride mountain bikes or spend time in the fully equipped gymnasium. You can also go on shore-based fishing trips on North Island and half day fishing charters, plus much more.

Day 12: Departure
You will be transferred by helicopter from North Island back to Mahé for your onward scheduled flight.
