In Lake Manyara National Park, spot flamingos fluttering along the soda waters and lake, as well as herds of roaming elephant, an array of birdlife and the famous tree-climbing lions! Hop over to Serengeti National Park with its open grassy plains that play host to The Great Migration of Wildebeest and Zebra and offer great viewing at any time of year.
The Ngorongoro Crater is just as special, being the world’s largest unbroken caldera formed when its volcano top erupted, leaving fertile plains in its place, with a procession of wild animals and birdlife.

Arusha – The city of Arusha is surrounded by some of Africa’s most famous landscapes and national parks.  The city is close to Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, Olduvai Gorge, Tarangire National Park, and Mount Kilimanjaro and The Arusha National Park on Mount Meru.
Lake Manyara – Somewhere in the middle of the rolling grasslands of Tanzania, against the dramatic angles of the Rift Valley Escarpment and the overlooking Lake Manyara stands The Lake Manyara Wildlife Camp.
Serengeti National Park – Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th world wide wonder, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing.
Ngorongoro Crater National Park – Ngorongoro Crater, a large volcanic caldera within the area, is recognized by one private organization as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa.

Day 1: Arusha
You will arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel located a short distance from Arusha Town Centre.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
Spend the morning at leisure and receive a safari briefing followed by lunch. In the afternoon, go on a safari and depart Arusha through the Masai Steppe with its several picturesque African villages and maize, coffee and banana plantations. At the town of Makuyuni you turn North West and continue the journey up through a scenic escarpment to Lake Manyara Serena, your lodge for the night, perched on the edge of the Rift Valley with stunning views over the distant Lake Manyara.

Day 3-4: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast there is a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park that returns to the lodge for lunch. Leaving Lake Manyara behind, the journey continues North West across the stunning hilly countryside of the highlands which is filled with wheat and coffee plantations, and then into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. From here lie the vast plains of the Serengeti, where you’ll spot game, hopefully, well before you get into the park.
In the morning and afternoon enjoy game drives in the magnificent Serengeti National Park.

Day 5-6: Ngorongoro Crater National Park
After breakfast you depart for Ngorongoro viewing game across the vast Serengeti plains, stopping at Olduvai Gorge en route. After a picnic lunch you continue to your lodge, set high on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater.
The next day, a highlight awaits you in the morning as you depart to explore what is commonly referred to as the World’s largest wildlife zoo. After breakfast, you descend with a picnic lunch through the early morning mists and 2,000 feet into the crater. A picnic lunch is served overlooking a small lake populated with hippos. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon.

Day 7: Arusha
Departing Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast and head south east en route to Lake Manyara, Mto wa Mbu village and Tarangire beyond. Through the highlands and the Karatu district, you’ll view the scenic wheat plains and coffee plantations here before journeying down the spectacular escarpment where you turn north on to the main Arusha – Dodoma road and head to Arusha.
On arrival in Arusha you will be given lunch followed by a transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport to connect international departure flight.
